We are thrilled to announce the ongoing success of our Five-Day Kindergarten program at St Patrick’s Catholic School. Since its launch, our Kindergarten program has been providing children with a strong foundation for lifelong learning—and it will continue to be offered five days a week during term time in 2026.

This extended program offers much more than a simple change in schedule—it’s a transformative approach to early years education that supports our youngest learners in every aspect of their development.

A Place to Grow Every Day

Our five-day Kindergarten creates a safe, consistent, and inspiring environment where children grow in confidence, curiosity, and capability. With access to daily high-quality learning experiences, your child will have more time to:

  • Build friendships and develop strong social skills

  • Explore their world through play-based learning

  • Strengthen early literacy and numeracy foundations

  • Engage in creative and physical activity

  • Experience the rhythm and routine of school life

Above all, five-day Kindergarten nurtures a strong sense of belonging, ensuring that children feel part of their school community from the

very beginning.

A Smart Start for Lifelong Learning

Daily attendance in Kindergarten promotes a smoother transition to Prep and beyond. With regular exposure to both structured and informal learning, children build:

  • Oral language development

  • Critical thinking skills

  • School readiness

This benefits families too. Our five-day program offers a consistent routine that is perfect for working parents, giving you peace of mind knowing that your child is learning, growing, and thriving in a supportive Catholic environment.

What’s the Difference Between Child Care and Five-Day Kindergarten?

While child care focuses on supervision and free play, five-day Kindergarten offers structured, intentional learning experiences each day. In our program, children engage in a rich mix of activities designed to support their:

  • Oral language and communication skills

  • Pre-literacy and early numeracy understanding

  • Social, emotional, and physical development

  • Creativity, curiosity, and independence

Every aspect of our program is designed to nurture your child’s growth in an environment guided by Gospel values, compassionate care, and educational excellence.
